北京国家体育馆， 称为“鸟巢” 的体育馆， 对中国官方来说， 是“独特， 具原创性“， 和过去没有关系。

可是事实上， “鸟巢”除了新, 真的和中国文化没有吗？

有些人就问了， “鸟巢” 和中国佛教史上， 那个鸟巢禅师有没有关联？  答的人就斩铁截钉的说， 那是鸟窠 （ke 拼音 ）禅师， 唐朝人， 不是鸟窠（chao 拼音)。

其实说的人根本没有认真的研究过， 鸟巢禅师的出处， 不是在于历史，而是文学上， 吴承恩（1504年－1582年）的《西游记》。第十九回 ： 云栈洞悟空收八戒  浮屠山玄奘受心经。

吴承恩是知道历史上的鸟窠禅师。 吴承恩借小说家语， 把鸟窠禅师改成鸟巢禅师， 用他来贯彻了整个故事的主干 。 而故事里头， 《摩诃般若波罗蜜多心经》，时不时出现。 而中国传统的十二生肖， 鼠、牛、虎、兔、龍、蛇、馬、羊、猴、雞、狗、豬。 全都出现在《西游记》。 有人留意到没有狗，事实上是忽略了二郎神的啸天犬。

说北京国家体育馆称为 ”鸟巢” 太市井俗气的中国人，大概忘记了自己文化中的《西游记》，有这么一个鸟巢禅师， 有这么一部《心经》.  幸好中国没有硬硬把“鸟巢”定名为”燕窝“ 或”凤凰巢“。;)

Beijing national Stadium , colloquially as the “Bird’s Nest“,  in fact, are historically related to the famous literature, Journey to the west(author : Wu Cheng’En 1500–1582 ).  The key character that pin point the skeleton of the story, are a monk name “Zen Master Bird’s Nest”.

Inside the story Zen Master Bird’s Nest pass one of the most important Buddhist scripture, Heart Sutra to Xuánzàng .

Few chinese know their cultural literacture on the bird nest part. Luckily, China are yet to rename it to swallows’ nest .
