Actually Proton Perdana are based on Mitsubishi Eterna. That means almost the whole Eterna. Nevertheless, the whole news has found a permanent spot inside wikipedia : Proton Perdana.

I think the issue is not about Perdana; it’s about corruption that spreads far and wide; the service centres contractors are now millionaires.
