恩妮 “茉莉花的日子” 让我勾起了记忆。 印象中, 城市的孩子没多少机会接触香花。 小时候, 最常接触的是菊花茶。 而菊花却只是作为节日拜祭的用途。 而最常见的官方节日花朵, 却是胡姬花和木槿大红花。
尊为马来西亚国花的木槿, 英文却通称为Chinese hibiscus (latin “Hibiscus Rosa Sinensis”)。 讽刺的是, 虽然印度也是木槿花的原生地, 可是木槿花根本不是马来西亚这土地的原住民。
我很佩服为马来西亚争取独立的人们, 能用开发的心胸来看待外来的文化。 可惜的是, 大多数政府官员和人民, 还是保留着殖民和被殖民的心态。 马来西亚的文化无法与时进步, 而被肤浅的国家主义和种族主义份子骑劫了整整五十年的光阴。

当李康生被“拾”回 Norman Atun 的房间时, 让我想起了《小王子》 里头那只狐狸。 那只想“被”驯养的狐狸。 当然也包括了那独一无二的玫瑰。
李康生饰演的植物人的镜头出现的时候, 让人想起马来西亚的医药制度。
陈湘琪爬上阁楼的时候, 我们看到了贫富不均。
一直想卖楼的儿子出现了,只有迫不及待为了分割过去, 而不理睬还需它的人。
烟雾出现了, 因为政府的无能,小市民子苟且而活。
当然, 还有。。。其他的柔情。

从书店走出来, 看了这么眩目的天空。 因为太阳正好在斜后方, 我就利用了屋檐作遮光板,用蓝天测光。 发现了 Picasa 里头的 Graduate Tint 可以用来平衡天空和地面的光线。当然也可以用来增加反差。

According to CIA world fact book about Malaysia , the country 2006 GDP is around US$131.8 billions, or RM478.15 billions (assume 1 US$ = RM3.65).
And the country annual spending on military is around 2.03% of the GDP, that’ mean US$2.67 billions or RM 9.7 Billions.
