長著胡子的门神啊
你可要好好地替我掌着门啊

我该起程了
窗子都已经关上
炉子已经熄了火
我告诉过报摊依旧要每日送报纸来
米和石油气也会按时送来

这些我都记得的
让我再背一次给你听
我的身份证明书是在我右边的口袋里
我的牛痘证是在我右边的口袋里
我的身份证也是在我右边的口袋里
我的行李不会超过四十四磅重

冰箱里还有一个柠檬
若是你又伤风了切两片柠檬煮一杯可乐喝喝
就像平日那样
伤风的时候不要吃冻梨子
记得早眠早起

先围一条围巾才好开门出外
围巾就在木橱的第三格抽屉里面
一拉开抽屉你就看得见

This poet is written by Si-Si(West-west in Mandarin）, a famous Hong Kong writer. She wrote a lot of visualise essay, and dare to experiment various writing style. I’m afraid my poor English translation might kill the spirit of the poet. The author has mentioned, a poor translation will kill a nightingale. Dear bearded Door God

Dear bearded door god
please hold the gate for me

I should start journey
all windows are close
stove are shut off
I have told the newsstand people deliver paper as usual
I have told the sundries shop to deliver rice and the gas on schedule

I shall remember these
Just give me a minute to memorize it
passport in the right pocket
vaccinia card in the right left
Identification card in the right pocket as well
my baggage shall not surpass 44 pound

There is lemon in the refrigerator
if you catch a cold cut two piece of lemons and boil it with a cup coke
like ordinary day
don’t eat the frozen pear
sleep early and wake up early
During five degrees morning remember to encircle a scarf before going to the gate
scarf is inside the wooden cabinet third drawer
pull the drawer you will see it

I shall remember
when arrive a place
wrote a letter
I should remember
send regards to the dragon

If the television does not have image
seize it to feeds the tiger
if the toilet do not have water

The broken three feet footstools, fixed three days ago
you will not trip and fall again
when getting tired, take a seat
the heavy helmet and armor
don’t wash youself
send to the sundries for a dry cleanning
anything you like to eat
phone the restaurant for delivery
